2020- 2030 COUNCIL AGENDA
The Following Council’s Agenda will be investigated and presented to the members of the Al Thani Family to evaluate the extent of the outcome from each topic allocated herein. “The power of the Council of The Ruling Family” is derived from its members which are the inherent members of the Al Thani Family Dynasty.
Such evaluation will be derived after thorough investigations which is also an inherent right of the Al Thani Family Members and every citizens in the State of Qatar, and such inherent right is outlined in in the Permanent Constitution of the State of Qatar.
The level of the investigation is broad, whereas it encompasses investigative inquiries concerning the administration of existing laws as well as proposed or possibly needed statutes. It includes surveys of defects in our social, economic or political system for the purpose of enabling the Council of the Ruling Family to remedy them.
Such investigation shall also probe into departments of the Government to expose corruption, inefficiency or waste that has affected the State of Qatar for many years now.” The power of inquiry is also a inherent right as stipulated in the permanent constitution of the State of Qatar and International Laws. Whereas, in reference to Article 53 & 55 of the permanent constitution, “Defending the country is the duty of every citizen” and “Public funds are inviolable, and their protection shall be the duty of everyone in accordance with the Law”.
The entire Council Agenda shall be pursued and investigated to the national interests of the State of Qatar and all its Citizens. The scope of the power of inquiry, in short, is as penetrating and far-reaching as the potential power to enact and appropriate under the Constitution.”
The proposed Council’ Agenda is as listed herein, each topic is indicated with a briefdescription of each topic respectively, whereas each shall be investigated and findings shall then be presented to the Members of the Council to evaluate the status of each topic seperately
Each Topic will be addressed to the current Public Officials of the State of Qatar, to provide them with a chance to remedy such violations of their duties and the Constitution of the State
In the event of non responsiveness and no action taken to remedy such violations by the Public Officials, the Members of the Council reserves their rights in seeking alternative legal proceedings to assure that such violations are ceased and rectified promptly.
